Kart Race #3 Next For CGS

Cottage Grove, Oregon- Kicking off the two races this weekend at the Cottage Grove Speedway will be the Kage Karts on Friday May 31st. It will be their third race of 2013 and the second week in a row they will compete.
Blake Boshart and Nickolaus Lundquist both have achieved victories in the Pee Wee division while Conner Hanson and Talyn Roberts have one win each in the 5 Horse ranks. Kyle Roles has won the first two 125cc events and so does Tyler Thompson in the 250cc. In Open Kage competition Kyle Alberding and Patrick Dills have emerged as the first two winners in the classification in 2013.
General admission to the Friday Kart event will be FREE of charge. Pit passes are $10.00 and car and driver fees will be $35.00. The pit gates open up around 4:00 PM, the pill draw for drivers will close at 5:45, and the pit meeting is at 6:00 with hot laps and racing to follow.
The Cottage Grove Speedway Karts have provided several stars of both the ¼-mile as well as the American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region over the decades from the program. Competing on an exact miniature replica of the famed high banked bullring the action is breathtaking.
