Cottage Grove Area Chamber Of Commerce Teams Up With Cottage Grove Speedway

Cottage Grove, Oregon- The Cottage Grove Speedway is proud to announce its partnership with the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce in 2013. The Chamber will be the presenting sponsor at the historic ¼-mile clay oval this Saturday June 1st. The American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Hornets will all be classifications on the card.
“We’re very excited for Chamber Night At The Races,” commented Travis Palmer, Executive Director of the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, “we think it’s a good way for Chamber members to get together for a night of fun. I think everyone will have an enjoyable night.”
Tickets for the races on Saturday are $15.00 for Adults, Senior/Military/Junior (13-17) $13.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Children under the age of five are FREE. Pit gates open at 2:00 PM, front gates 4:00, time trials 5:30, and racing stats around 6:45.
The Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to building a strong local economy. The Cottage Grove Speedway has hosted fast and exciting action as far back as 1956. Since then the ¼-mile banked oval has been regarded as a place where fast times are set and plenty of side-by-side racing occurs. Regular classes include 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, NW Extreme Winged Sprint Cars, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Hornets from the months of April into October every Saturday night.
