NWWT Non-Wing Speedweek Continues At CGS

Cottage Grove, Oregon- The first ever Northwest Wingless Tour Non-Wing Speedweek will get back to business this Friday July 19th and Saturday the 20th. After two great nights of racing last weekend at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington the series heads back to Oregon’s Cottage Grove Speedway.
Kyle Miller swept last weekend to open the Speedweek up and now has a total of four wins with NWWT this year. Bill Winsley, Sterling Kane, Mitch Hoffses, and Kyle Mehner have each record one win in the current campaign as well.
In thirteen NWWT events at Cottage Grove since 2009 Kyle Miller leads the win list with a total of eight. Kyler Barraza is the only other multi-race winner with the series as he has achieved two triumphs. Drivers visiting victory lane just once with the series at CGS include Roger Crockett, Dale Smith, and Kyle Mehner.
Tickets for Friday will be Adults $20.00, Juniors (13-18)/Seniors/Military $15.00, Youths (12-7) $7.00, 5 And Under are FREE, and Sky Box Seats $35.00. While on Saturday Adults are $25.00, Juniors (13-18)/Seniors/Military $17.00, Youths (12-6) $10.00, 5 And Under FREE, and Sky Box Seats $35.00. Two-Day Pass will be offered and are Adults $40.00, Juniors (13-18)/Seniors/Military $30.00, Youths (12-6) $15.00, and Sky Box Seats $60.00.
The Cottage Grove Speedway has hosted fast and exciting action as far back as 1956. Since then the ¼-mile banked oval has been regarded as a place where fast times are set and plenty of side-by-side racing occurs. Regular classes include 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, NW Extreme Winged Sprint Cars, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Hornets from the months of April till October every Saturday night. In 2013 the Northwest Wingless Tour will partake in eighteen races at four different race tracks in the states of Oregon and Washington. In four seasons there have been four different champions in this organization that has started to become pretty popular among fans and drivers in the Northwest.
