Four DIRTcar Summer Nationals Dates Cancelled

Cottage Grove, Oregon- It is with great regret that the Cottage Grove Speedway, Willamette Speedway, and Sunset Speedway Park have cancelled their August DIRTcar Super Late Model Summer National events. Grays Harbor Raceway will still host a DIRTcar Super Late Model event on Saturday August 17th.
There will be a considerable effort to organize a week full of Dirt Late Model racing on in the Pacific Northwest during the 2014 season. For any further information feel free to contact Willamette Speedway General Manager Chris Nofziger at (541)-405-6944.
The Cottage Grove Speedway has hosted fast and exciting action as far back as 1956. Since then the ¼-mile banked oval has been regarded as a place where fast times are set and plenty of side-by-side racing occurs. Regular classes include 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, NW Extreme Winged Sprint Cars, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Hornets from the months of April till October every Saturday night. The Willamette Speedway has operated since the 1960’s and is a facility where high car counts and great racing are the norm. The venue will hosts weekly action comprising of DIRTcar Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, Super Sports, Street Stocks, and Mini Trucks. The Sunset Speedway Park is located just west of the Portland metro area in Banks on the Sunset Highway. From April until October you can get your racing fix at this facility which competes weekly primarily on Saturday nights. Regular classes in action include the NW Extreme Winged Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Bee’s, NW Extreme Modifieds, and the Womens division.
