Open Comp 4-Cylinders Added To CGS Weekend

Cottage Grove, Oregon- This Saturday August 31st and Sunday September 1st will have Open Comp 4-Cylinders added to the weekend card. This will include the always popular Hornets and the Pro-4’s. Teams will be competing for a standard Hornet purse. For Hornets drivers the races will not count towards the 2013 championship and will go down as non-point events. We hope everyone can make it out for these two great nights of racing.
The Cottage Grove Speedway has hosted fast and exciting action as far back as 1956. Since then the ¼-mile banked oval has been regarded as a place where fast times are set and plenty of side-by-side racing occurs. Regular classes include 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, NW Extreme Winged Sprint Cars, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Hornets from the months of April till October every Saturday night.
