Northwest Extreme Late Model Series 2014 Season Opener This Saturday At Cottage Grove

Cottage Grove, Oregon- This Saturday April 19th the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will open up their 2014 campaign at the Cottage Grove Speedway. They will take on the local Cottage Grove Speedway contingent which should result in a very good car count. Also fans are very exciting to see all of the new special themes of the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series regulars that will be unveiled Saturday.
2014 marks the fifth season the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series has been in competition. Greg Walters has won three of the four championships available with the tour including last season. Jason Wines is the only other driver to win the title in the four previous seasons.
Historically the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series has visited CGS a handful of times, three occasions to be exact. In those three races Collen Winebarger has won the most races as he swept the two visits the series made last year. Billy Workman Jr. is the only other driver to have won at “The Grove” as he picked up the win in the tour’s inaugural visit back in 2011.
As mentioned above the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will kick off their season on Saturday April 19th at the Cottage Grove Speedway. So far the series will be in action for nineteen different nights at seven facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest.
