Cottage Grove, Oregon- After last weekend’s rain outs the Cottage Grove Speedway is excited to get back to racing this Saturday May 3rd. In addition presenting the night’s action will be the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce. Classes in action include the Northwest Wingless Tour, Late Models, Northwest Extreme Modifieds, and Dwarf Cars.
“We did this last year and our members had a really great time,” commented Travis Palmer, President of the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, “we think it’s a really fun way to get our chamber members out, have a good time, and support another chamber business.”
For all divisions, except the Late Models, it will be their first race of 2014. In fact the Late Models have had two races completed this year with Rob Mayea winning the April 12th non-point event and his nephew Shaun Mayea victorious in the April 19th race against the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series.
Discount coupons can be picked up at either the Cottage Grove Community Center, Boyce and Sons Landscaping and Building Materials, and Aesthetic Surgical Arts. These coupons will get you $2.00 off your admission into the races for this night.
