2014 Summer Sizzle Tour Dates Announced

Calling all Kage Kart drivers, calling all Kage Kart drivers! Are you looking for the best three days of racing action this summer? How about at the best three Kart tracks in the Pacific Northwest? Well be sure and make plans for the 2nd Annual Summer Sizzle Tour as it will visit the Albany Motorsports Park, Cottage Grove Speedway, and Willamette Speedway once again this August.
Things will kick off at Albany Motorsports Park on Thursday August 14th to open the three race series up. Last year Patrick Dills was able to take care of business in the opening leg for the Open Kage ranks. Albany Motorsports Park is the northernmost venue of the three that competition will be held in 2014.
But wait the racing doesn’t stop there as everyone will trek south to the Cottage Grove Speedway on Friday August 15th for round two. In 2013 Bricen James was the big winner in the Open Kage feature.
Then everything will conclude on Saturday August 16th for the third and final race of the Summer Sizzle Tour. Last year the race was held in the daytime but in 2014 it will be a night race making for excellent track conditions. Robert Venner took care of business in the Open Kage to make it three different winners in as many nights in last year’s edition.
Bricen James is the defending Open Kage champion for the Summer Sizzle Tour and a massive Kart count all weekend. Also offered will be 5HP classes, 125cc, and 250cc divisions. Also stay tuned for information regarding entry fees, payout, point fund, etc. It’s going to be an awesome three days of racing so be sure and make your summer plans this August for the Summer Sizzle Tour.
