Cottage Grove, Oregon- The Cottage Grove Speedway will host the rescheduled Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday June 21st after the original May 10th date was rained out. Classes in action include the Huddle Automotive Repair 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

Just before opening ceremonies on Saturday we will have all race cars in the pits on the track for fans to get autographs, pictures, hero cards, etc. from the drivers and also the first five hundred fans through the front gates will get a FREE autograph book. It will also be a Pepsi Family Night so that means folks that purchase a Family Pass get complimentary soft drinks courtesy of Pepsi and the Bigfoot Beverage Company.

In 2014 the Huddle Automotive Repair 360 Sprints have had just two point races with Roger Crockett and Henry Van Dam claiming victories. In regional series action Van Dam and J.J. Hickle managed wins last weekend with ASCS-Northwest for Relay For Life Weekend while Seth Bergman has two wins with the tour when they were in town in May.

In IMCA Modified competition Braedon Hand has three wins over Mark Wauge’s two. But Wauge enters into the next race as the new point leader with a three marker advantage. In Street Stocks Justin Evans is the only driver with two wins while drivers with just a single visit to victory lane include Steve Begley, T.J. Langan, and most recently Evan Britton.

In the Hornets Taunton Swaim has dominated the season with four wins including the 4-Cylinder Nationals. K.C. Scott and Eric Cooper have both managed to win in non-point action.

Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and Racing starts at 6:45. Tickets are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE. And as mentioned before we will offer our normal family pass for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00. For more information log on to www.cottagegrovespeedway.com.
