Big Al Kids & Motorsports Foundation Hosting Outlaws for Kids Kart Benefit Race
Inside Line Promotions – ARLINGTON, Wash. (Jan. 21, 2015) – The Big Al Kids & Motorsports Foundation is excited to showcase its first outlaw kart benefit on Sept. 8.
The Outlaws for Kids event, which will be held at Cottage Grove Speedway in Cottage Grove, Ore., is scheduled for the off day between World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series races in Washington and Oregon. It also follows the famed King of the West kart race the weekend prior at Cottage Grove Speedway.
“We have a couple of World of Outlaws drivers wanting to participate and there should be some top-notch drivers there for the King of the West races the weekend before so I think we can get some people to stay an extra day or two to have the chance to race with World of Outlaws drivers,” Big Al Kids & Motorsports Foundation Founder Al Tschider said.
Sprint car stars Shane Stewart, Joey Saldana and Paul McMahan have all committed to compete during the race – a benefit for the Big Al Kids & Motorsports Foundation, which was created to provide motor sports trips and racing opportunities for children battling life-threatening conditions and illnesses.
“Shane, Joey and Paul have all supported the foundation for a while and we really, really appreciate them,” Tschider said. “We hope to add more premier sprint car drivers to the event as well.”
