2015 Northwest Extreme Late Model Series Schedule Announced

Cottage Grove, Oregon- The wait is finally over as the dates of the 2015 Northwest Extreme Late Model Series has been officially released. The series will be in action for fifteen exciting events throughout the course of the campaign at five different race tracks in the states of Oregon and Washington. Below this release is the entire 2015 tentative schedule but must stress that it is subject to change.
The entire season will be kicked off on April 25th at Sunset Speedway Park in Banks. The campaign will come to a conclusion, like the prior season, at the Central Washington State Fair Raceway on September 26th. 2015 should be another great year for the organization as it looks like some tough competition will be either returning or joining the group of teams that plan to compete.
Sunset Speedway Park will be the most visited facility for the NELMS in the upcoming season as there is a total of eight occasions they will tackle the “Banks Bullring”. These eight races include some of the most popular Dirt Late Model events in the Pacific Northwest including the Spring Showdown (May 23rd and 24th), Firecracker 100 (July 4th), and the Doug Walters Classic (August 22nd). The Doug Walters Classic has been opened up to where Super Dirt Late Models from Willamette Speedway can compete which will no doubt produce a sizable car count and spice up the action even more.
Cottage Grove Speedway will have three races for the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series including two dates in July (the 10th and 11th) that will have them face the regular Dirt Late Models the historical 1/4-mile clay oval has to offer. Willamette Speedway (on May 30th) and Coos Bay Speedway (on June 20th) will each have one race each and the Willamette date will feature Crates only. The aforementioned championship night in Yakima will be the second of two nights of action on the Central Washington speed factory as it will also be the largest and fastest track they venture to this year.
