In addition to the Northwest Wingless Tour and the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series at the Cottage Grove Speedway there was also IMCA Modifieds and the Quality Repair RV Hornets in competition. The historical 1/4-mile clay oval would host Springfield Area Chamber Of Commerce/Pepsi Family Night. A great crowd would turn out to watch some fantastic racing.

In the IMCA Modifieds main event youngster Ryan Baker, of Coquille, would set the pace. Baker, in his Cam Cat Tracker/Blaylock Inc./Chapelle Industries #18R Dirt Works, stayed out in front until lap four. Overtaking the teenager was the Curt Deatherage Auto Electric/Oregon Electric Company #45 S.D.MF. of Creswell's Jason Kocks. Kocks would suffer mechanical issues shortly after grabbing the lead giving the position back to Baker.

On lap five Cottage Grove teenager Kinzer Cox would take the lead from Baker. Cox would set a rapid pace but three cautions all taking place within a few laps would prevent him from constructing a large lead. Gus Cooper, of Creswell and driving the Eastside Rollforming Specialties/Raceprint.com #10 Pro, would get by Cox on lap eleven only for Cox to take the position back on lap twelve.

On lap thirteen Gus Cooper would once again pass the Robert Howell Logging/Hard Knocks Brewing/Scoggins Creek Logging/Jerry Robinette Performance Carburators #1K Loose Gruff, of Cox, for the lead but would lose it again on lap sixteen. Cox would stay out in front the rest of the way to win his first victory of the season in Huddle Automotive Repair victory lane and become the third different IMCA Modified feature winner in three events.

The Superior Fuel Cells/IBEW Local 280/Valley Rose Construction/West End Performance #24 X-Factor of Curtis Towns, from Cottage Grove, was the runner-up while Gus Cooper ended the night third. Creswell's Austin McTaggart, in his Junction City Muffler Shop/West End Performance/Eastside Rollforming Specialties/Performance Heating & Cooling #16 Dirt Works, was fourth and the Springfield Tire Factory/Tan Republic #11 X-Factor of Steven Sturdevant, from Springfield, would end his night in fifth.

Kinzer Cox was the Jim's Tire Factory Fast Time Award winner and Gus Cooper won the Dot's Trophy Shop Trophy Dash. Heat race winners were Kinzer Cox and Gus Cooper. Picking up the My Boy's Slate Fired Pizza Hardcharger Award was Austin McTaggart.

Last but not least the Quality RV Repair Hornets would put on some exciting action. Pleasant Hill's Justin Austin, driving the Mike Swaim owned Rapid Delivery Service/Bigg Dogg Recycling/DT Machine & Fab/Big B Tire #22A Toyota Tacoma, was the early race leader but while fending off the competition he would get caught up in a multi-car crash in turn two resulting in him getting upside down. That would give the lead to the Letsom Racing #23 Toyota Echo of Marcola native Brandon Letsom.

Letsom would lose the position on lap two to Cottage Grove's Jim Simmons on the ensuing restart. Simmons, driving the Body Works Salon/Marvin Smith Auto Repair/Froggy's Towing/Bigg Dogg Recycling #41 Honda Prelude, possessed the desired position for some time until he was passed by Dan Jenkinson of Marcola on lap five. Jenkinson's South Valley Automotive/Dan's Automotive #4 Nissan 200SX looked to be the car to beat but he would have his hands full with Josh Corley.

Corley, from Westfir, would make a pass on Jenkinson and Corley would hold off Jenkinson and company for the rest of the distance. For Josh Corley, in his Burnett Builders #7C Nissan 200SX, it would be his first trip to Huddle Automotive Repair Victory Lane and he became the fourth different winner in as many races in the class.

Dan Jenkinson was second while third would go to the Randy Kuhl owned More of Everything Racing Collectables/DT Machine & Fab/Bigg Dogg Recycling #17 Toyota Tacoma of Taunton Swaim from Dexter. Chris Pierce, out of Cottage Grove, would finish fourth in the Jayson Nelson owned Quality RV Repair/AP Media/Froggy's Towing #28 Acura Integra and the Dan's Automotive #9 Dodge Neon of Dale Jenkinson from Marcola was fifth.

Josh Corley would also pick up a clean sweep by earning the Jim's Tire Factor Fast Time Award and winning the Dot's Trophy Shop Trophy Dash. Heat race winners were Corley and Dale Jenkinson. Corley was also the My Boy's Slate Fired Pizza Hardcharger Award winner.
