Cottage Grove, Oregon- Cottage Grove Speedway is back in action for another busy weekend this upcoming Friday May 29th and Saturday the 30th. The Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic will feature two nights of 360 Sprints, Late Models, and Vintage Cars. On Saturday the IMCA Modifieds will make just one appearance over the weekend.

Admission prices each night are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, and 5 & Under FREE. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45 for both races.

The 360 Sprints have hosted four races. Two have them non-sanctioned local events while the other two have been apart of the Western Sprint Tour. This weekend will be unsanctioned and is expected to attract over thirty 360 Sprint Car teams from all over the Pacific Northwest region. With $4100.00 to win you can expect that all of the top teams will be making the journey.

Roger Crockett has won the last two events while Trey Starks and Michael Kofoid have one apiece. Crockett unfortunately will not be able to compete this weekend but defending Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic winner Henry Van Dam will return.

Lap sponsors are still available and are $100.00 per lap. If you are interested in purchasing some feel free to contact CGS General Manager Heather Boyce at (541)-729-8666. But hurry they are going fast.

The Late Models are returning after a couple of weeks off. Curtis Towns will look to get back to his winning ways as he looks for his fourth triumph of 2015. Jesse Williamson and Joey Tanner currently have one win each.

The Vintage Cars are made up of old Sprint Cars, Midgets, Roadsters, and Speedsters from the 1960's-80's. They are a treat to watch and their cars owners are always up to educating the fans about the rich history of their nice looking vehicles.

In IMCA Modified competition two drivers have won twice. Jesse Williamson and Kinzer Cox are tied for the most wins of the season at two while Braedon Hand is the only other winner in 2015.
