Monte Bischoff from Medford will be seeking glory during the Wild West Modified Shootout. Although 2015 has been a bit a rough one, what better time to turn things in the positive direction then against some of the best competition around. That is the goal in mind for the Payroll Specialties/Hoppes Construction/Lucas Oil Products #F1 High Side Race Cars by Kyle Strickler team.

“I think our year has been lousy,” said Bischoff, “our second race out we crashed hard while running up front at Willamette and we got in a nasty tangle at Madras at the Bill Mills race. It seems like we are fixing the car more than racing it.”

But the team is focused on improving their results. Making the switch over the offseason from Impressive Race Cars to High Side Race Cars by Kyle Strickler has been an adjustment. And they seem to be confident they are headed in the right direction.

“I think we got a good grasp on the car now,” Monte would continue, “this should be a really good week of racing because the caliber of drivers each year gets better and better.”

Keep in mind that Bischoff has picked up two big victories in the last couple of seasons. The Bill Mills Memorial at Madras Speedway in 2014 and in late 2013 won the Two Day Shootout at Reno, Nevada's Fernley 95 Speedway. And the final two races of the Wild West Modified Shootout end at Willamette Speedway, a venue that the #F1 team has won at four times in the past few seasons.

The 2015 Wild West Modified Shootout kicks off at Southern Oregon Speedway on Saturday June 13th. The tour will wrap things up at Willamette Speedway on the 19th and 20th to close the speedweek out for the second straight year. Teams from Oregon, Washington, California, North Dakota, Montana, and British Columbia Canada are expected to make the journey.

All races will be broadcasted through Speed Shift TV and you can either purchase each race for $19.95 or buy the whole week for $99.95. Orders can be made onhttp://www.speedshifttv.com. Be sure and don't miss out on these great races featuring the best Modified drivers in the Pacific Northwest region.
