Cottage Grove Speedway would have a full house in attendance with one of the best crowds of the season for Ladies Night on Saturday June 13th. All three main events would be action packed and some good racing would take place all night long. Classes in competition included the 360 Sprints, IMCA Sport Mods, and Quality RV Repair Hornets.

In the 360 Sprint main event the Jacob Daniels Attorney at Law/State Representative Cedric Ross Hayden/All Seasons Equipment/LaChance Kofoid Enterprises #5D KPC of Patrick Dills was the early race leader. The Cottage Grove young gun would lose the lead around lap seventeen to Roseburg's Kyler Barraza. Barraza kept his Barraza Motosports/Johnson Rock/Hedge Carter Gutter Service #87 entry in front the rest of the way to win his first race of 2015.

The IMCA Sport Mod main event Gene Ashley seemed to have the car to beat. Ashley, out of Jasper in his Ashley Family Racing/Furniture Options/A-1 Auto Supply #85 mount, would experience some mechanical problems and take him out of the race. Cottage Grove chauffeur Jimmy Owen inherited the lead and would win his first career CGS race in the Steelhouse Metal Roofing Supply/Quality RV Repair/Devine Continuous Gutters #38 machine.

Finally the Quality RV Repair Hornets feature would be a caution plagued affair. Westfir's Josh Corley was the car to beat for most of the race in the Burnett Builders/All Around Landscaping #7C Nissan 200SX. Corley would experience some mechanical issues and pull in the infield with just a few laps to go. Picking up where Corley left off was Joe Maricle of Veneta. Maricle would stay out in front of the rest of the field for the final laps to get yet another win for the Royal Refuse Service #11 Chevrolet Cavalier team.

Cottage Grove Speedway is back in action on Tuesday June 16th for the Wild West Modified Shootout. This race will feature the best IMCA Modified racers in the Western United States. Classes in action include the Mods along with the Quality RV Repair Hornets for the support class. A Car Load Special will be offered which gets a car, truck, or RV load of race fans into the races for $25.00. Racing starts around 6:45 PM.

Friday June 19th will see the return of the Kage Karts at CGS for race three of 2015. General Admission to the race is FREE and action starts around 6:30ish.

Saturday June 20th will be Retro T-Shirt Night which means anyone that wears a Cottage Grove Speedway t-shirt will receive $2.00 off their admission. Classes on the card include the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Dwarf Cars.

Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under FREE, and a Family Pass (consisting of two adults and up to four youths) is $35.00. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
