Cottage Grove, Oregon- A busy weekend awaits Cottage Grove Speedway. It will be kicked off with the Kage Karts on Friday June 19th followed by T-Shirt Night on Saturday the 20th. T-Shirt Night means if you wear a CGS T-Shirt or Sweatshirt you will receive $2.00 your admission price. Classes in action on Saturday include the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Dwarf Cars.

General admission to the Kart race on Friday will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $35.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 3:00 PM and the Pit Meeting is at 6:00 PM with Hot Laps and Racing to follow

The Clark Printing Extreme Sprints have only been in action four times this season and Dave Hibbard has won three of them. The defending track champion is on a terror as he looks to win two straight titles. The driver that won the only other race was Colby Carter.

Curtis Towns has been quite the dominant force in the Late Model ranks this year. Winning four main events he has been doing very well despite only having driven a Late Model once prior to 2015. Other main event winners include Jesse Williamson, Joey Tanner, Bricen James, and Justin Duty all with one win each.

The big question in the Street Stock class is whether or not anyone can beat Chis Sine. Sine has been untouchable for much of the year winning all but one race. With five straight main event wins he will look to make it six in a row Saturday night. Steve Dubisar is the only other to have won this year.

Finally the Dwarf Cars will be in action for the first time at CGS in 2015. A good car count is expected and will feature drivers of the Pacific Hardtop Racing Association and the Southern Oregon Dwarf Car Association. If you've never seen these car in action you are missing out.

On Saturday Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, and 5 & Under FREE. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45. Be sure and keep up to date with the latest news and information on CGS by logging on to www.cottagegrovespeedway.com or call the Northwest Track Hotline at (360)-699-RACE.
