Colby Carter Looks To Revisit Victory Lane At BMD Miner's Night

Cottage Grove, Oregon- It's hard to believe that Colby Carter is in just his second year of Sprint Cars. Previous experience for the Cottage Grove pilot was a season in Kage Karts and that was several years prior to his 2014 debut. Since getting his first crack in the Huddle Automotive Repair/Royal Flush Environmental Services/Oregon West RV/Hedge Carter Gutter Service/Astro Titanium/Dave's Carpet & Vinyl Liquidators/Drummond Automotive Machine #71 XXX he has put together two wins in less than two years behind the wheel.
“I thinks it been a pretty fair year,” said Carter, “I haven't really finished past third during the main events even though some nights we've started deep. I've been finding my way to front each race.”
In six starts Colby has finished in the top five on five occasions and was victorious on May 16th. Last week he was second in the feature. He will look to improve off of that performance to get his second victory of 2015 at BMD Miner's Night on July 18th.
“I'm definitely trying to find victory lane again,” he would continue, “if I'm not in the front I'm going to be coming for it.”
Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under FREE, and a Family Pass (consisting of two adults and up to four youths) is $35.00.
