Cottage Grove Speedway would host St. Jude Night presented by Coors/Columbia Distributing on Saturday September 19th. The event had a charity auction with all money raised going to St. Jude Children's Hospital and it would also be the final race of 2015 for the 360 Sprints. Other divisions in action included the IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and the Quality RV Repair Hornets. The Quality RV Repair Hornets were a last minute addition and were not racing for points.

Central Point's Chadd Noland would wax the field in his one and only start at Cottage Grove Speedway this year. The 360 Sprint feature would go non-stop green to checkered and the Bio Mass One/BC Motorsports #13 KPC, of Noland, would seize the lead on lap three and not look back. Noland would nearly lap the entire field and would pick up the victory in only his third start of the season. Second place finishing Seth Nunes, of Medford, would earn enough points to claim the 360 Sprint championship, in his Napa Auto Parts/Lucas Oil Products/Awesome Racewear #5N KPC, for his first title of his young career.

Although it took him quite a bit of time to get to the front, Jake Mayden was the car to beat in the IMCA Modifieds. Mayden would get the lead on lap fourteen in the Embers Bar & Grill/Chuck Bracelin Trucking/Clint Willis Racing Engines #5M Dirt Works. A late race caution would occur but Mayden would master the ensuing restart and win the race. It would be his second victory of the campaign for Jake.

The Street Stocks feature would be a caution filled event. The D&L Truck Parts/Sierra Gear & Axle/West Coast Deferentials #74 Nova of Andrew Langan would lead all but one lap. The Jasper native would get passed on lap thirteen but would retrieve the position on lap fourteen. It would be the first victory for Langan in 2015 after coming so close on several occasions.

Finally in the Quality RV Hornets a newcomer would grace victory lane. Cottage Grove's Tyler Smith would hop in the A-1 Auto Supply/Bigg Dogg Recycling/Rapid Delivery Service #22A Toyota Tacoma for owner Justin Austin. Smith would dominate the entire night leading all but the first two laps. Smith would also be perfect in preliminary action and Smith would pull off a clean sweep.

Cottage Grove Speedway has just one race left in the 2015 season. Championship Night presented by Coors on Saturday September 26th will feature the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Quality RV Repair Hornets. There will be a Demolition Derby to cap the whole night off.

Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, and 5 & Under FREE. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
