Cottage Grove Speedway
10th Annual Wallbanger Cup & Kid’s Night Followed by 2 Days of Modified Mayhem, June 24th – 26th!!

3 days of racing action is coming to Cottage Grove Speedway starting with the biggest street stock event on the west coast! The Wallbanger Cup!! This race gets its unique name from the late, great Mark “Wallbanger” Howard. The fastest street stocks in the Northwest will battle it out for $2026.00 to win thanks to an added sponsorship from Bloom Family Racing and the infamous trophy with a cup of dirt off the wall and a great front stretch celebration!! Saturday’s races will also have the Todd’s Auto Body Sprint Cars and Late Models back and ready to see the checkers!! Open Comp Hornets will also be racing for the 1st of 3 days for them in what is sure to bring some fun and fancy 4 cylinders to the track!! Saturday is also the postponed date for kid’s night, all kids 12 and under will get into the speedway for FREE and be entered to win a FREE bicycle!!
Sunday and Monday the Wild West Modified Speedweek makes the 2 day stop at Cottage Grove Speedway. Some of the best modifieds in the nation will be on this tour bringing some amazing side by side, rip-roaring racing to the northwest!! Sunday’s racing action will start around 5:00, Monday will have a 6:00 start time and both days offer a $10.00 car load special, that’s right folks, pile everyone in the family station wagon and bring the whole posse down to the races for just 10 bucks each day!!
