Cottage Grove, Oregon- Cottage Grove Speedway would host four other classes, in addition to the Wingless Sprint Series, on Saturday, May 19th, for Armed Forces Night. Classes on the card included the Mohawk Metal IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Late Models, and Quality RV Repair Hornets.

Eugene’s Jesse Williamson would double up on the weekend and became victorious for the second consecutive night in the Mohawk Metal IMCA Modified division. Justin McCreadie, of Phoenix, would claim a huge win in the IMCA Sport Mods.

In Late Model competition Portland native Joey Tanner won for the second time in 2018 however this time he would be behind the wheel in the Jared Bemetz entry. Josh Corley, of Westfir, got the job done in the Quality RV Repair Hornets for the third occasion in the current campaign.

Cottage Grove Speedway will have two nights of action on the docket this weekend for the Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic. 360 Sprints will be on the card both Saturday, May 26th, and Sunday, the 27th. The support class for Saturday is the Quality RV Repair Hornets while Sunday will be the Street Stocks. For more information log on to www.cottagegrovespeedway.com.
