LATE MODEL LOGGER’S CUP AND $5 FAST FRIDAY NEXT UP AT COTTAGE GROVE SPEEDWAY!!
We are revving things up with another HOT & FAST 2-day weekend at Cottage Grove Speedway! Things will get started with our final $5 Fast Friday of the season and it’s gonna be the biggest one yet with 3 big classes on tap. Late Models, Mohawk Metal Modifieds, and Sportmods will all be competing for the final Friday night showdown of the 2018 season battling for precious points as the season is beginning to wind down.
Saturday night brings us to the biggest Late Model event of the season, LOGGER’S CUP!! This year’s winner will take home a cool $2000.00 on this hot August night! Joey Tanner picked up the big win last year and will be back fighting to defend his title against some of the best Late Models in the Northwest! Logger’s Cup was once a staple race at the then Riverside Speedway, it was brought back to life by longtime flagman Rick Daniels and has once again become one of the marquee events for Cottage Grove Speedway bringing the biggest field of Late Model competition of the season!
Mohawk Metal Modifieds will be running both days of this 2 day event as well, coming off of a 2-day show last weekend where Bricen James picked up both nights wins in what has been a stellar season so far for the young driver out of Albany. Will he continue the streak or will we see a new driver this weekend in victory lane?
Super Sports are returning to the ¼ mile for just the 2nd and what will be the final time for the 2018 season and the Quality RV Hornets will also be back in action Saturday night!
$5.00 Fast Friday & Logger’s Cup on Saturday, you won’t want to miss a minute of the action this weekend at the COOLEST place to beat the heat, COTTAGE GROVE SPEEDWAY!! The stands are shaded, the beer is cold and the racing is SIZZLING HOT!!
