Jake Mayden Will Clench His First Mohawk Metal IMCA Modified Championship Saturday Night!!
2018 has been a great season for the Mohawk Metal Modifieds and Jake Mayden is going into the final night of action with a 57 point lead over 2nd place Tyler Smith. IMCA gives a maximum of 40 points per night making Jake Mayden your 2018 champion before the final night of racing even begins. Mayden has had a great season posting 2 main event wins and numerous 2nd and 3rd place finishes consistently keeping him atop the point charts!
Tyler Smith has a comfortable lead over Steven Sturdevant in 3rd and Bricen James sits in 4th. Th closest battle among the top 5 is for 5th place with rookie Evan Britton sitting just 14 points ahead of Paul Rea who made his return to racing at Cottage Grove Speedway this season.
