Cottage Grove Speedway
COTTAGE GROVE SPEEDWAY BACK IN ACTION JULY 18TH!!
Round 2 at Cottage Grove Speedway is set for Saturday, July 18th and we are so excited to get back to racing! Thank you so much to all of you that came out and supported us on July 4th.
There are new and increasingly strict rules every day so please be patient with us as we do our best to stay open during this difficult time. Some of those rules are outlined below and others we will go over once again at the pit meeting. Most importantly tho is to show up with a positive attitude and be ready to be flexible and have some fun!!
Thanks to some great partners we are able to pay regular payout for each class, the following have stepped in to pay 1st place,

AAMCO has also contributed towards bonus money for Street Stocks and IMCA Modifieds
General admission tickets still won't be available and it really isn't the same without our amazing fans, we have missed you all!! Pit passes can be purchased for $40.00. All of the action can also be caught on dirtovaltv.com!
Gates will open at noon, we ask that you wait in your vehicle until the team in front of you has signed in and returned to their vehicle. Please do not enter the facility until you have been instructed by an official to do so.
IMCA Sport Compacts, Street Stocks, and IMCA Sportmods will be pitted in the front lot, IMCA Modifieds, Limited Sprints, and Late Models will be in the regular pit area. No personal vehicles will be allowed on the premises, anyone not coming in with a team will need to park at the fairgrounds, they are charging a $5.00 fee to park.
Pit Meeting is scheduled for 3:30 with racing action to begin at 5:00pm.
Pit Passes are $40.00 per person regardless of age, all of those on the property will be required to sign in and buy a pit pass as there is no general admission available at this time. Transponders are available to rent for $20.00 and are required for scoring purposes. There is no additional driver or registration fee at this time.
All classes will be required to abide by all Cottage Grove Speedway rules, these can be found on the website. Other track or series rules do not apply, you must follow Cottage Grove Speedway rules!! All cars at all times MUST RUN A LEGAL MUFFLER, THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Sport Compacts, Spotmods, and Modifieds will be sanctioned by IMCA and must follow all IMCA rules and protocols.
With the uncertainty of the season we will not be keeping points for 2020.
Please maintain social distancing while at the races and if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 we ask that you please stay home.
Concession stands will be open, you are also welcome to bring your own food and drink into the pit areas, alcohol is strictly prohibited.
There will be absolutely NO VIDEOING OR PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED other than by our staff. Failure to comply with this rule will get you removed from the property for the remainder of the season and may also result in a DQ for your driver, we are taking this very seriously at this time.
