MARVIN SMITH MEMORIAL THIS WEEKEND AT COTTAGE GROVE SPEEDWAY!!
The biggest race of the year is this weekend at Cottage Grove Speedway, THE MARVIN SMITH MEMORIAL GROVE CLASSIC!!
Friday, August 6th & Saturday, August 7th the best 360s on the West Coast will fight for the title of The Marvin and the $4100 top prize!
In addition to the 360 Sprints Friday Night will feature Late Models and Street Stocks and Saturday will feature Late Models and IMCA Sport Compacts.
Admission Prices Each Day:
Adults - $15.00
Juniors (13-17) - $12.00
Seniors (62+) - $12.00
Youth (6-12) - $5.00
5 and Under - Free
Times Each Day:
Pit Gates - 2:00pm
Front Gates - 3:30pm
Hot Laps/Qualifying - 5:00pm
Racing - 6:00pm
2021 Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic Format
2 laps of qualifying – (Will be split into 2 groups, alternated by pill draw if 4 or more heats are ran)
6 car invert in heat races
4 heat races top 4 go to A Main
Fastest 6 cars that make it thru the heat will run a 6-lap dash (Saturday this will be the Fastest 4 added to Friday's locked in 4)
The dash will be lined up by a random draw
The rest of the cars that make it thru the heat will get their time back and start heads up behind the dash
B mains will be lined up by qualifying time alternated.
Winner of each B Main will get their time back behind the dash cars
Top 4 Friday A Main Finishers will be Locked in to Saturday’s A Main
