Cottage Grove Speedway
HERZ PRECISION PARTS NON WING NATIONALS AUGUST 27TH & 28TH!!
The biggest Wingless Sprint race of the year is set to take place this Friday and Saturday at Cottage Grove Speedway!!
Thanks to Mark Herz and Herz Precision Parts we will be paying out $5000.00 in bonus money on top of the regular purse each night! See below for full format and payout information!
In addition to 2 nights of Wingless Sprint action IMCA Modifieds, and Royalty Core Sportmods will be battling it out and the IMCA Sport Compacts will be racing on Saturday night! This is sure to be a BIG weekend at Cottage Grove Speedway!
Masks are once again required outside when social distancing cannot be maintained so please be prepared to wear one in the common concession area. There is plenty of room to social distance in the grandstands.
Times each day:
Pit Gate - 2:00pm
Front Gate - 3:30pm
Hot Laps/Qualifying - 5:00pm
Racing - 6:00pm
Prices each day:
Adults - $15.00
Juniors (13-17) - $12.00
Seniors (62+) - $12.00
Military - $12.00
Youth (6-12) - $5.00
5 and Under - Free

Friday Night
Qualifying:
Knock Out Qualifying - Overall Winner $500.00 Bonus
Cars will be divided into 2 groups
Top 2 cars in each group will advance to round 2
2nd round will determine qualifying times for 5th - 8th
Remaining cars will qualify by time in their group
Points awarded 150, 148, 146, etc
Heats:
Top 6 inverted by time points as follows:
36,30,27,24,21,18,15,etc
A Main
Top 12 in points inverted
Points awarded as follows
100, 98,96,94,92,90, etc
Saturday:
Heat Races inverted by 6-8 cars depending on car count. Points as follows:
36,33,30,27,24,21,18,15,etc
50 Lap A Feature
Line up by full invert (if B-Main is needed this will include those cars)
Points as follows:
150,145,140,135,130,125,etc
All Points will be totaled and the following bonus will be paid out
1st - $1000.00
2nd - $800.00
3rd - $650.00
4th - $500.00
5th - $400.00
6th - $300.00
7th - $250.00
8th - $200.00
9th - $200.00
10th - $200.00
