COUNTDOWN TO THE FIRST GREEN FLAG OF 2022 - 8 DAYS!!
The 2022 Season is right around the corner! The weather has forced our season opener to move back to March 26th instead of the original planned date of tomorrow! With that being said today will be our final highlighted event teaser and what better race to end the countdown with than the Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic! This race has quickly become a favorite for both fans and drivers drawing the countries best 360 sprint racers to Cottage Grove Speedway every Memorial Weekend for a 41-lap feature paying $4100 to honor the late, great #41, the one and only, Marvin Smith! NW Focus Midgets will join the 360 sprints for 2 nights of the very best racing in the country! This is definitely the most fun weekend of the entire year with pre-parties, golf tournaments, potlucks, and so much more all leading up to that final 41 laps where a winner will be crowned, and their name forever etched into the Marvin Wall here at Cottage Grove Speedway. Keep a close eye on Facebook and our website every Monday as we will be posting a weekly "Marvin Monday" story with more information about this marquee event!!
