STREET STOCKS SEASON SET TO START WITH SOME EXTRA CASH THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!!
The street stock class has been patiently waiting for their season to start since they were first scheduled to run on March 19th nearly 2 months ago!! That opener and every race since that has had street stocks on the schedule has unfortunately lost out to some nasty weather. After 5 rained out events we thought we would do something a little special for this class along with the 360 sprints that are in the same wet boat. So street stocks you are now on the schedule and set to compete for an extra special, extra fun night of racing along with some extra cash! In addition to the increased payout for the 2022 season if someone can sweep the weekend and win both Friday night and Saturday night's main events you will go home with an extra $500 making your 2 night winnings $800!! This bonus money is courtesy of Cottage Grove Speedway, Lester Hankins, and Jerry & Mandee Casey! But wait there is even more!! Our new track photographer, Jason Davenport has kicked in as well adding a $100 to Saturday nights winning purse and a 12x18 aluminum print of the winner's choice!! If you can take the weekend that means you go home $900 richer and get a super cool photo of your car! Street stocks you definitely want to be at Cottage Grove Speedway this Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th to finally kick off your 2022 season!!
