FROGGY 44 TRIBUTE TO MELVIN WALKER UP NEXT AT COTTAGE GROVE SPEEDWAY!
Cottage Grove Speedway is ready to honor another great man this weekend as the Kiefer Compacts are gearing up for their biggest race of the year!
The Kiefer Compacts take center stage this weekend and the winner will take home $444 in honor of the late Melvin Walker. Mel was a great man who alongside his wife Teresa spent many Saturday night's here at the speedway competing in various classes of cars, the last before his death being the 4 cylinder class.
This year's Froggy 44 will be IMCA sanctioned and will be a points race with regular IMCA Sport Compact rules being applied.
The race pays $444 to win and $44 to start.
Much like last weekend's Marvin Smith Memorial you can purchase a lap and be a part of this race, Froggy 44 laps are only $50 and you can purchase them by calling Heather at 541-729-8666.
Along with Kiefer Compacts, classes in competition on June 3rd include, 360 Sprints, Late Models, Modifieds, Royalty Core Sportmods, and the new Junior class.
